Accessibility Statement

Accessibility statement for WMCA Cancer Careers and Education Programme

This accessibility statement applies to the learning management system at wmcacancereducation.nhs.uk.

This website is run by West Midlands Cancer Alliance. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this learning management system (LMS). For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the LMS using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the LMS using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the LMS using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the LMS text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

We used this approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test: we chose publicly accessible pages to allow third party tools access, as much of this is behind a login.
